Safety First!
The Freudenberg Sealing Technologies plant in Lajosmizse is committed to preventing workplace accidents and aims to ensure an accident-free work environment.
During the production and handling of our products, we create working conditions that guarantee the health and safety of our employees.
We act responsibly to comply with legal regulations, MEBIR requirements, and the internal regulations of the Freudenberg Group, which are stricter than the relevant legal provisions.
We actively participate in the Freudenberg Group's occupational and fire safety programs, and by involving our employees, we enhance health and safety awareness. We support safe working practices through training, further education, leadership by example, and other incentive measures.
Occupational safety and health
At Freudenberg Sealing Technologies' Lajosmizse site, we pay special attention to accident prevention and the promotion of occupational safety, and we integrate this into the planning and design of work processes. Our goal is clearly to achieve zero accidents, and we see the active participation and contribution of our employees as key to this.
In designing and operating our work processes, our primary concern is to create an environment that ensures the health and safety of our employees every day. To this end, we pay full attention to relevant legislation and regulations and closely follow MEBIR and internal Freudenberg requirements.
Through ongoing projects, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies not only strengthens our safety culture, but also enables us to apply the latest technological developments to provide even more effective and innovative solutions in the field of occupational safety.
Through regular training, leadership by example and incentives, we motivate our employees to take an active part in building and maintaining a safety culture. Environmental Protection
For Freudenberg Sealing Technologies Ltd., not only occupational safety, but also environmental protection and sustainability are vital factors. Our site in Lajosmizse is committed to the practical application of the Environmental Management System (EMS), with the main objective of continuous improvement of environmental performance. To this end, we integrate the principles and methods of KIR in the design and development of our technological processes to minimise our environmental impact.
It is of utmost importance to us that all our activities fully comply with Hungarian legislation, EU directives, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies' internal policies and the KIR standard requirements. This is the basis for ensuring that our activities are always environmentally friendly and sustainable.
One of the key elements of our measures is the involvement and training of our employees through various environmental programmes and training courses. Our aim is to raise awareness and responsibility for environmental protection so that everyone can actively participate in our sustainability efforts.
Sustainability
Our site applies a sustainability approach to all its activities. One of our key objectives is to reduce our CO2 emissions, and we are continuously improving our energy efficiency and green technologies to achieve this.

Whistleblowing
Freudenberg Sealing Technologies Ltd. is committed to representing and enforcing business conduct that is based on integrity, honesty and ethics. To this end, the Company operates a whistleblowing system to handle whistleblowing under the law:
Act XXV of 2023 on Complaints and Whistleblowing of Public Interest and on the Rules for Reporting Abuse
- EU Directive No 2019/1937 (on the protection of persons reporting infringements of EU law).
Based on the decision of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies Ltd, the whistleblower reports are investigated by a whistleblower protection lawyer independent of the Company and a report (response) is provided to the whistleblower on the outcome of the investigation.

The whistleblower protection lawyer who investigates the report will notify the whistleblower within 7 days of receipt of the abuse report (the report will be received, filed and an acknowledgement of the fact of the report will be sent).
